I am sort of obsessed with this skirt now because the shape suddenly feels utterly wrong. The more out of date an item becomes the more I want to wear it and make it work. It’s the challenge I suppose that's fun.
In many of the outfits you’ll see I hid where the waistline falls because that is part of what dates the skirt - others things are the shape, the texture and the lines. I focused on the greyness, which is about the only modern thing about it - and even that is a little off! :)
Anyway, it’s my grey pencil skirt and I’m standing behind it. Maybe you have one, too. And maybe yours is out of date. So what would you do? :) How would you wear it?
