OK don’t laugh – I actually do have some rock and roll in my soul – about 3% of me is rock and roll -- Like I like Joan Jett.
I wouldn't exactly call rock and roll my fashion style – and I can’t even say I am a big fan – I never listen to the Stones – and I like Paul McCartney best with Wings. I know – – what can I say?
But I do think the outfits are cute – so I thought I would try my hand at the style and it was a lot harder than I thought! I think you really do have to have the rock and roll spirit to make it work :)
I like these next 2 but they don’t feel like rock and roll at all to me -
I don’t know what this is – it ain’t rock n’ roll - but I like it - like it - yes I do -
this would have been better with jeggings -
this is more like grandpa joe – but sometimes rock and roll guys who hang around coffee shops do look like grandpa joes
I am feeling something here - like Mick aboard his yacht -
I like the next 3 – the balance here seems right -
the next two are more me on holiday in Paris -
OK I think it is safe to say that I don’t get it – some of these are more Olivia Palermo than rock and roll - but that’s OK – I don’t think the rock and roll police are going to come and get me – it’s fun to try new things and to stretch your range. Nobody’s watching ;)
I think I learned a lot by trying. I learned that it is more about attitude than the individual pieces. Like just because you throw on skinny pants and leather don’t expect miracles.
How about you :) How would you wear it?
