I have a few dresses in this genre – very staid and dependable and comfortable. For the most part I wear them very simply with boots and a necklace or a great pair of earrings - on occasions where I need to be low key, mature ;), or I am not sure what to expect. Because it is hard to be over or underdressed in a dress like this. But today it was fun to let the imagination go a little wild. This winter I might try this dress with a big bulky navy pullover sweater, patterned tights, and flat ankle boots.
